How many times have you strolled through the Old City of Jerusalem? However, how many times have you wandered around the Old City- right next to it, on the outer side of its wall? The tour focuses on the Valley of Hinnom and on the sites that surround the Old City wall. On this tour, we will step between the old and the new, and walk between the remains of the lower aqueduct that still exists from the days of the Hasmoneans. In addition, we will tell the story of the communication channel tunnel from the War of Independence. We will walk through the Sultan's Pool and the Valley of Hinnom and hear about the idol worship that was still taking place during the period of the First Jewish Temple. Additionally, we will walk along the enchanting gardens by the wall.
