Tour in Neve Tzedek and the Old Train Station Area

This tour is a unique journey that emphasizes the connection between past and present. Neve Tzedek neighborhood holds within itself aspects of both Old Jaffa and modern Tel-Aviv. Thanks to the preservation of its historic sites program, it is possible to wander between the picturesque winding lanes of the past and the art galleries, cafes and art institutions which are located there nowadays. The story of Neve Tzedek's residents and its founder's homes, which we would visit in our tour, would introduce us to the neighborhood's story- the establishment of the first Hebrew city- Tel Aviv. We would listen to stories about Shimon Rokach and Aharon Chelouche- the founders, and visit the Old Train Station Area, which in the past attracted merchants, tourists, and even resulted the creation of a new word in Hebrew- "Rakevet" (in the meaning of 'Train'), which was created by Eliezer Ben Yehuda, the father of the modern Hebrew Language.
